Latest Netflix Apology Video
Here's the latest Netflix apology video, courtesy of Conan O'Brien:
Shuttle's Boosters Recovered in HD
NASA has released the first ever up-close, high-definition video of Kennedy Space Center's solid rocket booster (SRB) recovery ships retrieving SRB segments from the Atlantic Ocean following a space shuttle launch.
The unprecedented video is from the launch of the most recent shuttle mission, STS-133, Discovery's final flight, on Feb. 24.
Following each space shuttle launch, crew members of Liberty Star and Freedom Star pull the spent boosters out of the ocean and return them to Hangar AF at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida.
Once they are processed, the boosters are transported to Utah, where they are refurbished and stored, if needed.

The End is Near. Judgement Day, May 21, 2011
The end is near.
At least according to 89 year old Harold Camping, president of the Family Radio network.
For months, the network has been proclaiming that May 21, 2011 will be the day of Christ's second coming.
But why May 21? Why not May 20? Or May 22?
Seems that the Camping, a long time student of the Bible, has dome some fancy math.
And by his calculations, the date is May 21, 2011.
Apparently, Camping cites verses from the Bible that purport to foretell the beginning of the end. Using his fancy math, 7,000 years from the Great Flood (yes, the one with Noah and family) equates to next Saturday. Lots of earthquakes and world-wide chaos.
As for us, we'll see you all here on May 22, 2011.

Ashton Kutcher Joins Two and a Half Men. Winning?
We thought we had heard the last of Chrlie Sheen, Winning! and Two and a Half Men.
We were wrong.
Back into our lives comes two top twits. Or is that twitters?
On May 12, Ashton Kutcher (who goes by the Twitter name aplusk) tweeted this:
"what's the square root of 6.25?"
The answer of course is 2 and a half. Get it? As in 2 and a Half Men. The TV show he wants to join.
God help us all.
CBS official announcement soon followed:
Charlie Sheen, our favorite Warlock and no stranger to Twitter, chimed in with his own snarky remark regarding the potential low viewership. But it appears that he removed it.

The Just End of Osama bin Laden
Justice has prevailed. Finally.
Osama bin Laden, the de facto leader of the world-wide terrorist movement, Al Qaeda, and the number One terrorist on the FBIs Most Wanted list, was shot and killed in a daring military operation by the United States military.
Hiding in plain site inside Pakistan, bin Laden appears to have gone off the electronic grid. Avoiding the personal use of telephones, email and the web, he still directed terrorist activities.
Well, he did. But no more.
Perseverance finally paid off for the US military. Following up on leads obtained from captured terrorists and documents, they tracked down one of his most trusted couriers.
Sometimes when dross rises to the top, the best strategy is to shoot it. And then dump it in the sea.
